Release Notes version 1.23 (01-08-2019)


General

  • 2801 : Romanian language added

  • 2808 : It’s now possible to load only locations and lines in countries where your
    company is active. Besides the advantage that irrelevant locations are hidden
    for operators and planners, this will also increase the overall performance and
    memory usage of the application

Planning & Operations

  • 2760 : All settings related to the graphical planning are now moved to a
    separate tab in the ribbon, giving a better overview of relevant options in the
    day-to-day operations

  • 2780 : A warning icon will appear in the locomotive planning when planning the
    incorrect traction type (electric vs. diesel).
    option disabled by default, can be activated on your request

  • 2781 : Block action when planning transport on non-authorized locomotive (e.g.
    based on country, safety system)
    option disabled by default, can be activated on your request

  • 2782 : Disable the possibility to change transport status when no path or no
    locomotive is assigned to transport

  • 2783 : Added an option to send e-mail during the cancellation of a transport

  • 2790 : Added rest time column to the duty overview screen

  • 2799 : Updated context menu item for checking knowledge and labor law

     

  • 2813 : Activities can now be unassigned from duties. This will make it easier to
    remember to plan required activities for transport. Instead of deleting activities
    and check the transport screen to detect missing activities, the window
    ‘Unassigned duties’ will now also contain all non-assigned activities.


    For this function to work we need to make a change to your database. This
    change in combination with this new feature might cause issues with previous
    versions of RailCube. Please don’t this feature in production without contacting
    us first.

  • 2814 : Added warning message when assigning a duty to an employees that is
    not available (sick, rest, day off)

  • 2815 : Added function to make draft contract visible in the week template
    Contract in ‘draft’ status are displayed in light purple

  • 2816 : Added multi-select in the locomotive planning screen. This makes is
    possible to assign multiple transports to a single locomotive

  • 2817 : When deleting a duty, the (transport related) activities are no longer
    deleted automatically. These required activities will remain in the screen
    ‘Unassigned duties’. Please see also work item 2813

  • 2818 : Multi activation of concept transports is now possible using multi select
    (hold the Control key on your keyboard)

  • 2822 : The spot creation screen has been improved. Required resources can
    be defined during creation. Route templates can also be added or changed
    without moving to a different screen

  • 2850 : Duty templates are now being showed twice if it wraps around the week
    (template)

  • 2867 : Added option to sort items based on relevancy instead of alphabetically

  • 2888 : When generating documents, RailCube will now give the possibility to
    enter the minimum brake percentage and the maximum speed per wagon list
    (instead of for the full transport).
    This input will also be remember for subsequent generations :

  • 2903 : It’s now possible to filter on available and qualified employees in the
    graphical planning based on the content of a duty. RailCube will take the
    employees roster, route knowledge and certificates into consideration.

  • 2904 : It’s now possible to filter on available and qualified locomotives in the
    graphical planning based on the transport. RailCube will take the availability and
    certifications of the locomotives in consideration.

  • 2969 : The employees details can now be opened from the graphical duty planning
    (e.g. to see route knowledge or certificates)

  • 2982 : Added a explanation of the e-mail status icon pop-up in the employee
    planning

  • 2993 : It’s now possible to show the UIC code (Company Code) of the responsible
    RU in the graphical transport planning

     

  • 3003 : Added column that displays the train number of the first train movement in
    the transport

  • 3009 : Add predefined cancellation reasons/categories

  • 3139 : Added the possibility to set ENEE (UIC) or PLC code as the primary input for
    locations

  • 3211 : Duties can now be send per week.

  • 3286 : Files attached to transports can now be opened directly from all relevant
    transport overview screens. Active the ‘Show child tables’ option to use this.

     

  • 3314 : The train composition (including wagon details) is now checked before
    sending a TCM or H30 message. An error message will be given to inform the user
    about the incorrect or missing information

  • 3315 : Time registration start + end values are now available in the operational duty
    detail window

  • 3316 : Path information can now be exported to Excel

  • 3336 : Wagonlists and brake reports that were sent are now visible in the Messages
    tabs within the transport details

  • 3395 : It’s now possible to add documents to a transport during the cancelation
    process

  • 3399 : Changes to transports can now be marked as ‘key item changes’. This will
    make the changes more clear and visible to other planners. Messages can be
    ‘acknowledged’, which is on a user level.

  • 3400 : Added the possibility to make it impossible to change the revised times of a
    transport as long as it is not running. In this state it’s only possible to change the
    planned times. As soon as the train is running this will be inverted (planned times
    read-only, revised times can be modified)

  • 3401 : Added the possibility to assign a sort order to delay reasons in order to set
    most used reasons higher in the list.



Fleet

  • 3160 : The brake weight of locomotives will set to 0 when a defect is active that sets
    the brakes out of order (same functionality as wagons)

HR & Safety

  • 2807 : Complementary Certificates can now be generated for the following
    countries : BG, ES, DA, DE, ET, EL, EN, FR, IT, LV, LT, HU, MT, NL, PL, PT,
    RO, SK, SL, FI, SV
    Please contact us when you want to use this function. It might be needed to
