Release Notes version 1.1.7 (01-06-2015)
General
RailCube is now using .NET Framework version 4.5.1. (was 4.0). As a result
Windows XP is no longer supported.Startup time improved
Planning
Improvements:
Refresh time of the planning improved
Time to check knowledge (route, locomotives and certificates) improved.
Visibility options are now saved! This means that after a restart of RailCube,
these settings will now be remembered.Visibility of timelines (Transport, Locomotives and Drivers planning
visibility).Timeline text (Train number, Origin and Destination, Both or None))
When required activities are planned in transports RailCube is checking if these
activities are actually planned in the corresponding duties.
If not, RailCube is showing a task (left bottom of the screen) but was not
showing a yellow triangle. This has been fixed now.
New features:
Filter possibilities added in all timeline views (transport, locomotive and duty
planning)Please see the new filter bar on the upper part of each ‘time line’
Click on ‘Click here to add filter criteria’ to add a filter
Choose the field to create a filter on (for example ‘Client’)
Please note; these names are kind of ‘technical’ at the moment. In the next
stable release these fields will have friendly names.Repeat these steps for all desired filters (you can have multiple active
filters at a time)It’s now possible to hide the filter bars by clicking on the new added
button ‘Filter’ :
Filter possibilities added in employee roster (planning)
Week template: it’s now possible to assign a locomotive type instead of a real
locomotive. This makes it easier for the operations to assign locomotives in the
operational phase.
As a result, the field ‘Locomotive’ is no longer a mandatory field.
Week template : it’s now possible to define the ‘allocated hours’ (= input for the
cost calculation module concerning) in the week template. This in order to
speed up the allocate process for recurring duties. :
In the resource part of a transport, the planned activities are now being
displayed in the associated color
Bug fixes
In some cases the ‘to’ e-mail address was incorrect when reporting DC’s and
fuel reports using the mobile app.(Android, IOS)Fleet management : several miscalculations in the maintenance calendar are
now solvedPlanning : in some cases RailCube didn’t remember the last published week
after a week publish.Operations : in some cases RailCube didn’t calculate the route of existing
transports.

OVGS : Dutch infra manager Prorail now supports empty GEVI codes, we
added support for this in RailCube as well (use GEVI code ‘00’ in the case)Transport : technical system messages in the tab ‘Log’ are now hidden by
